Do you want to enjoy your wax melt safely and optimally? Always look at the information on the packaging. Here you will find important warnings about the ingredients. Wax melts are not suitable for children and pets.

2. Use your wax melt correctly

  • Wax burner: always use a wax burner that is suitable for wax melts. (Roeloffs Candles has electric wax burners and the normal ones with a tea light.
  • Quantity: Do not use more than 1 block of wax melt at a time. Sometimes even half a block is enough.
  • Supervision: You also don't leave your burner unattended. Make sure you are always nearby when your wax burner is on.
  • Ventilation: Make sure there is enough air circulation in your space. Not only for your wax melt, but also for your overall health.

3. Safe place

  • Always place the wax burner on a flat, heat-resistant surface
  • Do not place near flammable materials.
  • Place your wax burner in a place where children and animals cannot reach it.

4. Storage and removal of leftovers

Store your wax melts in a dry, cool place, out of direct sunlight.
Removing residue: Let the wax cool and harden, then you can easily push it out of the wax burner. Discard residue where it belongs.

5. Additional safety tips

Pay attention to your burner with tea light. Tea light is also open fire.
Do not touch. The melted wax can become very hot and cause burns.

What is the wax melt made of?

All my wax melts are made with rapeseed and coconut oil. The wax is COSMOS certified and vegan and GMO-free.
How long does a wax melt last?

Each block you break off from your wax melt lasts about 6-8 hours. And your wax melt has 6 blocks. Count the hours!
How much should I use?

I always recommend placing one cube of your wax melt on your fragrance burner. For a single fragrance burner, I recommend half a cube, but that will be specified in the product description.
What are the benefits of a wax melt?

A wax melt is safer than a scented candle, especially when used with an electric wax burner. This way, you don't have an open flame in your home. A wax melt also has a stronger scent, making it easier to switch between fragrances.
Is the wax melt safe for pets?

Yes, what's safe? Not every animal and every person is the same. My own dogs tolerate it just fine; they even like to lie down with me while I'm making wax melts. I also know that customers with respiratory issues don't experience any symptoms from Roeloffs Candles wax melts. But I won't make any definitive statements about this.
Can this wax melt be used on a Scentsy burner?
