Is everything made by hand?

Yes, everything is handmade. From the candle pots to the candles. We mix the room sprays and scented sticks ourselves. The packaging for these is purchased.
How do I know which scent suits me?

If you have any doubts about a scent or are looking for something. Please contact us and we can help you further. We have also tried to describe the scents as best as possible and we offer sample packages with tea lights.
Is the legislation strictly adhered to?

As a producer of home fragrance products, we are required to strictly comply with the CLP regulation, among other things. We therefore closely monitor all updates and implement any changes immediately. In addition, we also strictly monitor overall product safety and imitation products. And we adhere to the permitted IFRA limits with regard to fragrances. If you have any questions about this, we are happy to help you.

Each fragrance product has a heading with ingredients, below are all precautions and ingredients. All registrations are done by ourselves and the SDS (safety information sheets) can easily be requested from us by email.
How is my order packed?

We do our utmost to package our products as well as possible, so that they are not damaged during transport.
Can I have a product sent as a gift?

Of course this is possible! Fill in the recipient's details at the delivery address. Fill in your own address details at the invoice address.
What is the delivery time?

If you place your order before 3:00 PM, it will be shipped the same day. In general, the delivery service needs 1-2 business days to get the package to you.
What if my order is incorrect or something is broken?

That's definitely not the intention! Please contact us at marjolein@roeloffscandles.nl . Please include your order number so we can help you quickly. If a product is broken, please send us a photo.

Scented candles
What are the scented candles made of?

We use a mix of rapeseed oil and a little bit of coconut oil for our scented candles. Rapeseed grows naturally in the fields of Europe. We also use scented oils that have been extensively tested and are of high quality.

What are the benefits of scented candles

Scented candles are more than just a cozy atmosphere and a wonderful scent. Roeloffs scented candles are a powerful tool to influence your emotions and improve your well-being. The right scent boosts your mood, reduces your stress level and can even improve your creativity.
Why does the top of my candle look irregular after burning?

Because our candles are made from a vegetable wax (rapeseed wax), it is normal for them to solidify like this. This is just a sign that you have 100% vegetable wax in your candle.
What happens if I don't trim the wick before burning?

If you leave the wick too long, the flame will become too big. This causes too much wax to melt and the candle to become too hot. Your candle may also start to smoke, causing more soot emissions. In addition, your candle will also last less long. Therefore, if you follow our burning instructions, you will get the most out of your candle.
Can I use your scented candles if I have pets?

Yes.
Our scented candles are made with high quality fragrance oils. We have deliberately not chosen essential fragrance oils because pets can react to them.
Can I use scented candles in the bathroom?

Yes, that's certainly possible. For example, choose a soothing scent like Lavender-Chamomile or imagine yourself on vacation with the scent Coconut-Pineapple.

Room spray
In which rooms can I use room spray?

Room spray can be used in any room. Think of:

  • living room
  • kitchen
  • bedroom
  • bathroom
  • toilet

These are of course just a few examples. Room spray is an instant freshener and gives you a wonderful scent in your home.
How long does the smell of room spray last?

This depends on the space and ventilation. In general, our room spray will last for several hours.
Can I use the room spray on textiles?

Yes, our room spray is also suitable as a linen spray. We recommend testing on an inconspicuous piece of fabric first.
Can I use the room spray as a perfume?

Our room spray has no cosmetic certification. Despite the fact that our room spray does contain cosmetic alcohol, we do not recommend it.
Is the room spray suitable as a pillow mist?

Yes, you can use our room sprays on your pillow, for example the Lavender - Chamomile scent for a good night's sleep.
