1. Lees altijd de verpakking
Controleer de informatie op de verpakking voor belangrijke waarschuwingen, zoals het advies om de kaars buiten bereik van kinderen en huisdieren te houden, en de aanbevolen brandtijd voor een veilige geurervaring. Bij de aankoop van een geurkaars krijg je ook altijd een kaartje met verzorgingstips voor je wellness geurkaars.

2. Gebruik je geurkaars veilig op de juiste manier.

  • Zet je kaars op een vlakke en hittebestendige ondergrond.
  • Laat je kaars niet langer branden dan maximaal 4 uur.
  • Laat je kaars nooit zonder toezicht branden
  • Zet je kaars niet in de buurt van brandbare materialen.

3. Opslag en onderhoud

  • bewaar je geurkaars op een koele, droge plek, uit direct zonlicht.
  • knip de lont altijd op 6mm voordat je de kaars opnieuw aansteekt. Dit zorgt ervoor dat je kaars niet walmt, schoner brandt en langer mee gaat.
  • Als je geurkaars op is, verwijder je het restje was, was je de kaarspot af en kun je deze hergebruiken voor iets anders.

4. Extra veiligheidstips

  • Onderhoud je kaarslont door deze te knippen met een lontknipper
  • Maak je geurkaars uit met een kaarsen dover. Zo voorkom je dat er gesmolten was rond spat als je te hard blaast.
