Nice to meet you! I'm Marjolein, the owner of Roeloffs Candles & Home Decor.
So, now you know my name. But who am I really?
I'm a mother of two boys, work in disability care, and am blessed with a hip that's now well over 90 years old. I have serious trouble sitting still. It's a bad combination.
Precisely because my life was always "on"—work, family, worries, and zero breaks—I knew how much I needed rest. Not a weekend getaway or hours at a wellness resort, but small moments of relaxation, right at home. Something achievable between cooking, washing, working, picking up, and dropping off.
From that feeling, I began developing fragrances that do more than just smell good. Fragrances that help you slow down, breathe, and connect with yourself. What began as an outlet became a mission: to help other women experience the same moments of peace.
I create home fragrances such as scented candles , wax melts , room sprays , and reed diffusers , each designed to support relaxation, sleep, balance, or energy. Thanks to their minimalist, tranquil look, they fit effortlessly into your interior (because ambiance contributes to your sense of calm).
Everything I do stems from one belief: self-care should be achievable, even in a full life. Lighting a candle, spritzing your pillow, or adding a wax melt to the burner—small rituals, big impact.
My mission: to help women with full lives create moments of calm with wellness fragrances that bring balance, breathing space and relaxation.
My view: If you can't slow down the world, you should be able to land at home.
