Scented candles

Candle Burning Safety

Are you a true candle lover? There is nothing quite like the warmth, inviting glow and soothing aroma of a flickering flame. However, it is very important to follow the instructions for candle safety. This way, you can enjoy the experience of our scented candles without any risk.

Always burn the candle for the first time until the top layer of wax has completely melted.

Fire instruction

The wick is the correct length for the first burning.

Follow these steps and your handmade candle will perform optimally

  • The first time, let the candle burn until the top is (almost) completely melted.
  • Before lighting the candle, trim the wick to approximately 5mm.
  • Do not let the candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time (with the exception of the outdoor candles)
  • Place the candle on a suitable surface

The candle may become a little bumpy after burning, this is completely normal and is evidence that the candle is made from pure rapeseed oil with a little palm oil.

General instructions

  • First and foremost, always trim the wick before lighting your candle. This simple step prevents excessive smoke, soot, and uneven burning.
  • Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials, such as a lid.
  • Never leave a candle unattended, accidents can happen in the blink of an eye.
  • Be careful where you place your candle. Keep it away from drafts as this can cause uneven burning and increase the risk of fire hazard.
  • Follow the recommended burning time of up to 4 hours to prevent overheating and extend the life of your handmade candle.
  • Do not place any materials in the candle wax. These can cause an excessively large and unsafe flame.
  • Of course, our candles are not suitable for consumption.

Room spray

Get the most out of your strong scented room spray

Our room spray is available in 2 sizes

  • 100ML glass atomizer
  • 200ML HDPE* plastic sprayer

* HDPE is one of the most sustainable plastics with a long lifespan and minimal environmental impact

Instructions

  • Shake the bottle before use. Shake gently so that the fragrance oils mix well
  • Spray in the air: aim the spray upwards and away from you. Let the scents spread through the room
  • On fabric: Spray from a distance on fabric for a long-lasting fragrance experience. (Always test on an inconspicuous area first)
  • Pillow mist: Spray on your pillow before going to bed. Let it sit for a while before putting your head on it. ( Check the ingredients on the label to see if you are sensitive and/or allergic to anything)

Although our room sprays are made with, among other things, a base of cosmetic alcohol, they do not have the cosmetic certification and may not be used on the skin.

Home decoration

Enjoy your handmade home accessory to the fullest

The home decor is made of Jesmonite (environmentally friendly and sustainable water-based material). Each home decor item is individually hand-cast, sanded and sealed. The home decor comes with cork bases to protect your surfaces from scratches.

Jesmonite is free of volatile organic compounds and contains no harmful solvents.

Maintenance instructions

  • Use a soft, damp cloth without abrasives to clean. Then clean thoroughly.
  • Prolonged exposure to water will result in water spots
  • Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
  • Don't drop it, it may break.

Fragrance sticks

Enjoy the constant scent of our fragrance sticks to the fullest

Instructions

  • Remove the stopper from the gold cap. You can simply push it away.
  • Place the sticks in the bottle and give the sticks a few days to fill with the scent. When the sticks are well saturated, turn them over.
  • Once a week you turn the sticks over, this way you 'refresh' the scent and the sticks remain completely saturated.
  • After 6 to 9 months the fragrance sticks are used up and you can throw them away or order a refill.
