- Zet de kaars op een veilige plek. Op een vlakke brandveilige ondergrond, weg van meubels, gordijnen of andere brandbare dingen.
- Laat de geurkaars lang genoeg branden: Bij de eerste keer branden zorg je ervoor dat de bovenkant volledig gesmolten is voordat je de kaars uit maakt. Kaarsen hebben een geheugen en anders brand de kaars niet volledig op en heb je ook niet de optimale geurverspreiding. Maar laat de kaars niet langer dan 4 uur aaneengesloten branden.
- Maak de kaars veilig uit: Gebruik een kaarsendover. Zo beschadig je de lont niet, gaat de lont niet roken en heb je ook geen last van rond spetterende was voor als je te hard blaast.
- Knip je lont: Altijd! Elke keer voordat je de geurkaars opnieuw aansteekt, knip je de lont tot ongeveer 5 mm af. Gebruik hiervoor een lont knipper of je vingers. Zo blijft je kaars veilig.
- Altijd onder toezicht kaarsen branden: Blijf altijd in dezelfde kamer, houd kaarsen uit de buurt van kinderen en huisdieren. Kaarsen zijn open vuur, wees zuinig op je spullen en je huis. Geniet veilig van onze aromatherapie kaarsen.
